DUKE&KAY IMPROVED THE PERFORMANCE OF A COMPANY IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR THANKS TO A NEW IT STRUCTURE
Global leader in the research, design, manufacture and distribution of essential engine drive systems and aftermarket services for automotive, truck, construction, agriculture and industrial applications. With more than 4,000 employees worldwide and a global presence in 21 countries, it operates in Italy through 5 plants.
Following the exit of the IT Director, due to a reorganization project, it was necessary to hire an experienced manager to manage Europe and the plant in India. The new IT Director, reporting directly to the CIO in America, had the goal to identify organizational needs and requirements for information management, to plan and implement an IT architecture to support corporate governance and operations processes.
After an initial 3-month due diligence, the selected Manager proposed an action plan with the “go live” of the new operating system and the new organization over the next 12 months.
The radical transformation of tools and working methods quickly generated an improvement in productivity with a positive impact on EBITDA of 20% above the initial target.
