Duke&Kay was born in 2004

and has been named after both the meeting Maurizio Ria, one of the founding members, had at the beginning of his career with Prof. Michael Kay and some lectures he gave at Duke University (USA).

During the collaboration on an important European restructuring project, they developed specific methodologies which contributed to the success of the operation.

Only a few years later, after a number of projects successfully managed, Duke & Kay was born. At the beginning Duke&Kay was a company specialized in supporting Private Equity investors and later focused on performance improvement, recovery, restructuring and turnaround services. Activities guided by the ability to search for and select top managers (interim) through the application of those methodologies that made the initial operation successful.

Today Duke & Kay is formed by a group of senior Partners, coming from 20 different market sectors, with proven experience, and a network of 2,500 Executives and Managers with consolidated experience in the management of complex situations, ready to intervene in companies for the period necessary to achieve the objectives.
